Ro Mahajan, M.D.
Dr. Mahajan is a double Board Certified Anesthesiologist and Interventional Pain Physician and serves as the Medical Director and Department Chair for the Sanford Health Pain Center in Fargo, North Dakota. He also serves as Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences in the Department of Surgery.
Dr. Mahajan received his undergraduate degree in Psychobiology from UCLA where he first developed an interest in the basic science of chronic pain and the intersection between Neuroscience and Psychology.
Dr. Mahajan received his M.D. degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine. He completed residency training in Anesthesiology at the University of Michigan and fellowship training in Pain Medicine at UCLA. While training at these two leading hospital systems he learned how to apply the science of pain medicine to helping real patients with complex pain disorders.
To date, Dr. Mahajan has helped over 10,000 chronic pain patients find relief. With the help of Pain Life Balance, Dr. Mahajan hopes to help 1,000,000 patients suffering from chronic pain find a way to live a better, more pain-free, balanced life.
